BALDOCK BEAST 2013

Last Sunday saw the 2^nd Baldock Beast Half-Marathon take place in brisk but dry conditions.

  

A great turn out and race day atmosphere meant that the organisers built upon last year’s already successful inaugural event and ensured that there were lots of happy runners on the day.

The race was won by Team Trisports athlete Stephen Harrison in a blistering time of 1:12:57 – who received a free entry from the shop as a thank you for his support over the years. As did Clemmie Forrester – who made the most of her entry by smashing her PB for the event.

IN STORE EVENTS TO LOOK OUT FOR IN 2013

A little look ahead to some great in store events coming your way in 2013.

One for the ladies! we’ll be hosting a Ladies Night on Wednesday 10^th April at the shop (7-9pm).

We'll have representatives from Trek to talk about women’s bikes, cycle clothing, accessories and what Womens Specific Design (WSD) really means for you as a female rider. Also in attendance, the folks from Pearl Izumi and compression specialists, 2XU will be there to offer similar advice and information.

This is a great chance for all active ladies to learn about the products that are relevant to them over a glass of wine and some chocolates, and so make sure you put the date in your diary!

Before that, we will be hosting a sports nutrition evening with new product supplier Torq and also a natural run clinic via trained coaches from TCL Sports (the UK supplier of Newton Running Shoes and 2XU).
