DUCK N DASH 2013

A huge well done to all those who raced the Duck N Dash on Sunday 1 September.

This brilliant local event was a complete sell out, with 300 entrants lining up to compete in the various swim-run events on offer.

With the event now in its fourth year, it was once again superbly organised and hosted by local triathlon club Freedom Tri.

It was great to be there on the day and to see so many of our regular customers taking part and coming over to say hi.

The weather was also extremely kind, with a chilly start turning into a gorgeous sunny day and some cool tunes and a BBQ there to finish it all off.

THE DUCK N' DASH IS COMING!

Local triathlon club Freedom Tri will be hosting their brilliant Duck N’ Dash event on Sunday 1^st September at Letchworth Outdoor Swimming Pool.

This fantastic local event will once again be supported and sponsored by Trisports with presence on the day and age-category and overall prizes being supplied by the shop.

We will also be providing live Twitter commentary throughout the event (from our Twitter account @trisportsuk) and brining all the race day essentials and lots more to buy via the world famous Trisports marquee!

FREE BIKE CLEANING MASTERCLASS - 6 JULY

On Saturday 6^th July we will be holding a FREE Bike Cleaning Master Class at Trisports.

NATURAL RUN CLINIC - 27 JULY 2013

On Saturday 27^th July at 12:00 we will be holding a Natural Run Clinic at the store in association with TCL Sports and Newton Running Shoes.

During the clinic you'll learn all about:

• Reducing the risk of injury

• The biomechanics of running

• Natural and learned gaits

• Efficient running explained and... drills to support this

• Strength exercises to maintain good conditioning for running

• The science behind Newton Running shoes

• Test drive a pair of Newton Running shoes and experience the benefits of Natural Running!

This clinic has a participation element that takes place outdoors, so please remember to dress appropriately.

BALDOCK CYCLE CHALLENGE

This month sees the return of the Baldock Cycle Challenge.

Taking place on Sunday 23^rd June, this great local event offers riders the opportunity of two different course lengths, to cater for all cycling abilities.

As a key sponsor of the event once again, we’ll be there riding on the day as well as providing a mobile mechanic and our world-famous shop marquee for all those last minute essentials!

LADIES' NIGHT

Many thanks to everyone who supported our Ladies’ Night event on Wednesday 10^th April.

With almost 50 customers in attendance and manufacturer support from Trek Bikes, Pearl Izumi, Adidas Eyewear and 2XU, everyone in attendance agreed that the night was a fantastic success!
